Presents from Europe!

A few weeks ago, these came in for me from Ryan, who's currently in Europe. His family visited him there and he sent me these stuff.  So sweet, right? :) Oh, and some are pasalubong from his mom (Thanks Auntie!).

I told him to send me postcards for every city he's been to. But he told me it's a bit expensive so he waited for his family to arrive there so they can take them home (haha). I can't believe Ryan will be back here in Manila a month from now! I'm sooooo excited!

Stop and Smell the Flowers (HK Day 4)

Most of the photos were shot at Kowloon Park and the others were taken throughout the day while I was walking around random places. At first, I was wearing my brown Janylin ankle boots (see last two photos of this post) but I had to change to my trusty black F21 leather boots because my feet hurt too much.

For you, which pair of boots looks better with my outfit? :)

Who said pink and red don't go together?

My friend Chris made this for me. (You can check out his blog here.) Can you believe it? He made it from scratch! This is patterned from the Medicine Man watch by Dolce & Gabbana. I love how the pink strap complemented the red outline of the frame. The watch even has my name on it! Cool! I've been wanting an oversized watch to pair up with my outfits. And now I already have one! Thank you sooooo much Chris! :)

The face of the watch doesn't have white dots like what you can see in the photos. It's just a bit shimmery and I guess the light reflected when I took the photos.

What do you think of the watch?

SHOULDER CUT-OUTS! (HK DAY 3)

Hi everyone!

These photos were still taken in Hongkong though we didn't actually go visit different places like the day before. I don't think I was wearing any makeup that time which explains the super ugly eye bags and blemishes in my photos (ewww!). Haha. Anyway, I really like shoulder cut outs and this is the only one I have to date. I think it adds an extra twist to a simple outfit.

One thing I also wanna share with you is about my F21 leather boots I'm wearing here. The leather's starting to peel off and I don't think I'll be able to use it on my future travels. This pair of boots is my favorite because it's very very comfortable, I can wear it everyday! Too bad, I've overused it already. I bought a pair of brown boots (in my previous post) but after a few days my toes (my pinky toes, to be exact) started to hurt. Right now, I'm on the lookout for a fab pair of boots! Do you know any stores I can check out?

Day 2 in HK!

I have the photos from Day 2 during our stay in Hongkong... which means that I have my MacBook Pro back and all my files as well! All those sufferings these past few weeks worrying about my files are finally over. Right now, I'm the happiest girl in the world! You know the feeling when you feel you lost everything you have, but now you got it back? It's so wonderful! Now, I'm officially back (again) in the blogging business! The Macbook Air, however, was not as fortunate. It's still in the Power Mac Center for a more thorough check up and repair. *fingers crossed*

On our 2nd day in Hongkong, we went to The Peak and Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum (which explains the wax replica of Obama above). The rest of the day was dedicated to SHOPPING!

My sister, Tricia was the one responsible for all the photos of me drinking Coke! (And there were quite a lot.)  Oh and I looked so weird and messed up in my photos with the wax replicas of some of the famous Hollywood stars, it would just be too embarrassing to post them here. But, believe me, the trip is worth it! :)

GOING WILD!

I'm so in love with this sheer leopard print button down top from Tomato! I already have a lot of ideas on the different looks I can put together using this piece. This time, I paired it with a black bandage skirt so as not to make my look too casual but still appropriate for a dinner party.

This is the last set of photos I have from several weeks ago. I will be on hiatus for around a week and I'm sure you know the reason why if you've read my previous post. I absolutely have nothing to post because our desktop computer doesn't have a memory card reader. I'll just make it up to you when I arrive in Manila. :)

I HATE YOU, SUN BROADBAND!

Let's start from the beginning. I went home to Legazpi and brought my Macbook Pro, thinking I'll be able to blog regularly during my stay here. On my first day, I inserted the Sun Broadband into my laptop so I can check my mail, blog and Facebook updates. It was installed properly but it can't detect a signal. Eventually, I gave up, I turned it off and decided to surf the net using another laptop. After a while, I wanted to edit the photos for my next blog post and surprisingly, it won't turn on properly anymore. It just kept on loading, showing the apple logo and the spinning gear. Tried almost everything but to no avail! The worst part is, my sister also inserted the Sun Broadband into my dad's Macbook Air before we found out about the problem. And now,we have two NON-WORKING AND NON-USABLE MACBOOKS.

We searched the net and found out that this problem has been experienced by other Macbook users. Their advice was to bring it to a Power Mac Center. And that's what I'm gonna do- as if I have a choice, right? What bothers me most is my files there. I transferred all the photos from our Hongkong trip there and I have no backup. I never expected this to happen to my MBP because it's fairly new and was working perfectly until now. All those photos are really important to me because it's for this blog. I worked so hard for it and became so excited to be able to post everything here. I even said that it's okay to post the photos during Day 1 (in Hongkong)  even though I'm not very satisfied with it because the following photos will be better. Now I'm stuck with ugly photos from Day 1!

I really hope that there were at least some words of caution to Macbook users regarding this issue. This is very inconvenient, like, for example in my case. There are no Power Mac Centers here in Legazpi and I have to wait to go back to Manila to have it fixed. Me bringing it here turned out to be a very bad idea. I'm very much disappointed with this and I hope Sun Broadband will do its very best for others not to have this same problem as me.

I'm sorry for all the negative vibes. I feel like I just have to let everything out.
