Tmart 88 Warm Professional Eyeshadow Palette Review

IMG_5209
Tmart.com recently asked me to choose which eyeshadow palette I wanted to review, and knowing me, I chose the most neutral eyeshadow palette I could find. Yes, there were lots of bright, fun and colorful eyeshadow palettes to choose from. I won't deny it, they look extra nice and it was as if they were calling out my name and shouting 'pick me, pick me!'. But later on, I realized that if I choose those colorful ones, I won't be using them that much in the end. And so, I picked this one! :)

The palette came with a mirror and two applicator brushes. What I like about this is its wide selection of browns, whites, creams, and beiges, and they go (mostly) in shimmer and some in matte. I think they got every neutral shade possible!

So. Many. Colors. I'm in heaven!

I noticed that the eyeshadows have a chemical-like smell but there's no need to worry because you won't be able to smell them when you're doing your eye makeup.

Although this palette came with a box and was covered with bubble wrap during shipping, a small piece chipped off from the plastic container (you can see it in the photo below, upper left) and left some cracks. But thankfully, all eyeshadows were intact.

After using the palette two or three times and accidentally leaving the top half (the one with the mirror and 2 applicators) with no support underneath, the top and bottom half got completely detached. Some of the plastic connecting them broke into pieces beyond repair. Well, I guess you get what you pay for. At such a low price (it's being sold for US$14.27), it's still pretty impressive that you can get an 88 pc. eyeshadow palette.

There are no or minimal fall outs and the colors last for the entire day. With this palette, you can easily create a smokey eye or use some of the lighter ones for a bare-faced look. However, some colors look almost the same -- when you apply them on your eyes, you won't be able to tell the difference. Well, I guess that's one area to improve on.

Here are the swatches for the eight colors on the last row.

Considering the price and the wide selection of colors, I would go for it! I recommend it to makeup enthusiasts who love blending different colors to create various looks, at the same time want to stay within the budget. If you want to get something like this, here's the link to the product.

Thanks Tmart for the awesome palette!
