Ever since I moved back to my hometown this January, I find myself constantly browsing online shops. In fact, one of the things I miss most about Manila is that it has everything-- from clothes, bags, makeup, skincare products, to different types of food (Japanese, Italian, Mexican, French, Mediterranean) to various fitness activities (I terribly miss doing anti-gravity yoga). Name it, and Manila has it! Lol so anyway, I have limited access to all those things now because I only fly to Manila once or twice a month. I discovered this website called Althea around the same time I moved back to my hometown. It's a website that sells Korean beauty and skincare products. Talk about perfect timing!
I first ordered from Althea early this year which you can read about here. This is my third purchase from Althea and so far I'm happy with all my purchases. This time, I got a Food Skin Love Box which included eight full-sized products.

The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam. I actually just finished a tube of this last year. And here I am on my second bottle! I'm really happy with this product. It effectively cleanses the skin and it smells very refreshing.
Skinfood Tomato Whitening Toner. This is my favorite! I can feel that it really cleanses my skin, and it smells great too! I'm just not sure about the whitening/brightening effect because I haven't used it long enough to know.
Innisfree Broccoli Clearing Lotion. I don't have acne, just the occasional pimple once in a while so I gave this bottle to my brother who needs it more (sorry, brother! lol). He has been using it for more than a week but I can't see any difference. Maybe the product needs a longer time to take effect?
Monstory Girlymon Brightening Care Fresh Mask. Immediately after applying the product, my face heated up and felt like the first layer of my skin was being burned. I think it was an allergic reaction to the product. After rinsing it off, I noticed that my face was red. I tried using it a few more times (in a few days interval) to make sure it wasn't a one-time thing, but it had the same exact result. Now it's just sitting on my makeup vanity table because I don't know exactly what to do with it.
Wonderuci Light Light Eye Balm. Not exactly sure what to feel about this product. Been seeing some reviews on how effective it is but I get extremely bothered by its consistency and texture-- it reminds me of yogurt. Lol.
The Saem Saemmul Water Candy Tint in Watermelon. Looks adorable in its candy packaging. Color is fully pigmented, perfect for creating gradient lips.
Hiddencos Latte Mask and Americano Mask. Best to use during the day as these masks are energizing rather than relaxing. The smell of coffee emanating from the masks makes me want to get up and work. Lol.
