Uno de 50 Autumn/Winter Collection
I first learned about Uno de 50 when I saw a gigantic, floor-to-ceiling *gasp* poster while walking around the mall a few months ago. Imagine my surprise when I suddenly got an invite for a preview of their latest Autumn/Winter collection (which I'm going to share with you in a bit)!
But before anything else though, you're probably wondering why it's called Uno de 50. Believe me, it kept me wondering as well! Aiming to be known for its distinctive and unique style philosophy, the brand originally started out creating only fifty pieces of each design. Over time, the brand grew to the point that it couldn't keep up with the original idea, but the quality and exclusiveness of each piece still remained its top priority.
My top picks from the latest collection after the break!
This newest collection is called 'Connection'.
Connection is a collection full of magic, elements from forests, and nature. It is divided into four lines:
Forest -- Elements inspired by nature, with the color of leaves, fruits, and seeds. The pieces reflect the seasons change from fall to winter and the feelings that are awakened throughout the process. (See first photo!)
Vastness -- Silver-plated organic shapes that are cold to the touch and connect us with the landscape's vastness.
Intimacy -- The search for intimacy and oneself is recreated in pieces shaped as keys and hearts of different sizes. (I'm totally digging the necklace that looks like a zipper on the top right portion of the second photo!)
Magic -- The designs reflect the light, colour, and shimmer of the Northern Lights through blue, green, grey, and pink Swarovski Elements crystals. (My favorite out of the four! I just love everything with Swarovski on it!)
And here are my favorites from the limited edition pieces! You might notice that I chose a lot of Swarovski pieces lol. How about you? Which are your favorites?
Thanks Uno de 50 Philippines for the invite!
Uno de 50 is located at SM Aura, SM Megamall, and SM Mall of Asia.
