Happy New Year everyone! I can't believe it's already 2015! Time really does fly fast!

I love the new year because it gives everyone a fresh start, a chance to begin with a blank slate. It's a time to be thankful for all the opportunities and blessings we've been given, and a time to celebrate the year to come. But before all that, the New Year also reminds me of my backlogs from last year! Lol.

Right now I'm sharing with you the result of a mini photo shoot I had with my family. We've never had a decent family photo, so we had our photos taken a few months ago. These are now hanging on the walls of our living room!

Patterns and Paisley

I'm all about casual and laid-back outfits! In fact, I can't survive wearing heels for a long period of time, let alone an entire day. I only wear heels to parties or events (and very rarely to dinners), so it's very important that I have casual pieces to work with. This pair of Bensimon sneakers has been a favorite ever since I got them. I've worn them with shorts, skirts, jeans, even dresses! I think some of you even remember it from my previous posts! Lol.

Mint Kinda Day

This was one of those lazy days when I just didn't know what to wear. Since this was on a weekend, I wanted a laid-back, no fuss outfit -- one that was easy to move around in. I decided to go for the crop top + shorts combo, which is one of the type of outfits I love wearing. This mint top from H&M and high waisted shorts from Pull & Bear gave me the look I was going for!

This pose again? LOL. I don't know how and why but this seems to be my default pose when taking outfit shots. Oh well, just bear with me here, haha.

The top I'm wearing here is actually neon pink--it's just not that obvious in the photos. Can you believe that I got it from a bazaar for only Php150? Proof that clothing doesn't have to be expensive to be pretty! :)
