Sparkle and Shine

My friend Phya and I attended this event in Sofitel with the theme Brazilian Samba. I had a hard time thinking of what to wear so I settled in wearing a sequined top with my Oasap skirt. Btw, I've been meaning to show you a photo of me wearing hair extensions from 1721 and finally I have a decent one! Click the button below to see a closer view of my hair. It's because I usually wear my extensions at night and the photos don't look that good. What do you think of my look? :)

Black and White Color Block

Wore this black and white ensemble to the Schu Fashion Blogging Workshop. Figured that it would be a good opportunity to wear my black mullet skirt for the first time, and decided to do color blocking by pairing it with this top. We usually see color blocking in loud and bright colors especially last season but since it's starting to get rainy, I was in the mood to wear just black and white. Thanks to my friend Phya for letting me borrow her lovely belt which complements my outfit oh so much and for taking my photos!

My ear cuff is from Peaches On Top. Hopefully, I'll be able to post a clearer picture of me wearing it. :)

Schu Fashion Blogging Workshop

Remember the fashion blogging workshop I told you about here? Well, it turned out to be so much more fun than I expected! Let's see, I had the chance to visit Schu Factory Outlet, where they sell shoes at much lower prices than what you see in malls. It also houses Myth Boutique, which has a branch in Greenbelt that carries designs by Filipino designers, and Bling Duck. I had the opportunity to make new friends, and learn about the do's and dont's of fashion blogging. Thank you so much Gia of Schu and Arvin of Myth Boutique for having us! And thank you Seph Cham and Shai Lagarde of Love Chic for the wonderful talk! Such a lovely couple! Don't you agree? :)

The Classic Button Down

The button down is such a classic piece! I'm sure you considered of buying one at one point in your life. But before buying one, just like any other piece of clothing, make sure that the fit is right for you. I've had enough ill-fitting ones and trust me, it does make a big difference. You just have to look hard enough for the perfect one for you! What I love about button downs is that you can wear it with anything you want: be it printed shorts, floral skirt, or denim jeans, you name it! Its versatility makes it a must have in every girl's closet. And if you're an avid reader of my blog, you know I'm a sucker for classic pieces!

Fall Dressing

We don't have the four seasons in this country but that shouldn't stop us from wearing pieces that are inspired by these seasons. This outfit reminded me of fall because of its subtle and warm hues. The cardigan is such a statement! Do you think so too? :)

Sorry for the lack of posts. It's my finals week and my studies are taking almost all of my time. I have so many things to tell you guys, especially about last weekend. Definitely one of my most memorable ones! :)

A Touch of Neon + Winner of Fit Avenue giveaway

This dress is perfect for the beach but since I don't think I'll be lounging under the sun anytime soon, I decided to wear this to a normal day out. The dress looks very simple when viewed from the front but what grabbed my attention are the details at the back. Don't you just love the slight hint of neon? :) For starters, this dress is perfect for those who are not yet that comfortable wearing solid neon colors. What do you think? :)

Russian inspired

I was feeling a bit experimental and decided to sport a look which you don't usually see in this country. It's probably because this outfit is for a slightly colder weather. Anyway, I went for a poncho with leather pants and topped it off with a fur hat and leopard print ankle boots. You can't see the boots here but you can have a peek if you look hard enough on the second photo. As for the fur hat, I always think that it looks kinda like the hats Russians wear in movies. Haha.

Thanks to my awesome photographer friends, Mika Singson for the first photo and Maui Uy for the second! :)

Off duty

I was chosen as one of the models for this certain brand. I can't tell you which one yet! It's a surprise!  I figured that I should wear something comfortable and one that wouldn't ruin my hair or my makeup when I change to a plain black top, which we were required to wear. Anyway, it was such an experience and ultimate plus side was I got to meet lots of amazing friends!

Thank you so much to my architect-blogger friend, Maricar de Dios for the photos! :)

Pink stripes

This outfit makes me think of summer because of its playful colors. When dressing up, I usually start with one piece of clothing, then build my whole outfit around it. This time, I started out with this striped skirt and decided that it would look great with a basic white tank. I added this anchor cropped jacket to make it look more polished and finished it off with my turquoise wedges. When choosing which accessories to wear, make sure they go well with the rest of your outfit. For instance, if you're wearing a rocker outfit, you can choose accessories with studs, spikes or metallics.

First two photos taken by Nico Nuyda.
