When In Doubt, Wear a Dress!

Now that you've seen the things I bought during Blogger's United 2, it's time you see my outfit! It's just really simple. I didn't have time to plan an outfit and all the stuff I pulled out from my closet simply did not go well together. I'm sure you've experienced a situation when you're in a hurry and you have to put together an outfit and unfortunately, that was also the time when you don't seem to find anything good to wear. Sooo, to avoid the stress, I wore a dress (Oh-kay, I did not mean that to rhyme, haha). Hassle-free, see? (OMG, it rhymes again! What is up with me today?)

I was with Phya that day and she took my photos. Thank you Phya! :)

Blogger's United Haul

Hey guys! Just a quick post.
I'm still not that well after getting food poisoning several days ago. So to make my time at home useful, I'll share with you the photos of the things I bought during the Blogger's United 2. (And hopefully, I'll get better tomorrow.)

Plaid

This is what I wore in a college event a few weeks ago. Then, we came to party, party, party afterwards! Changed to shorts and flats before going home because although my shoes may seem comfortable, they're really not when worn the whole night.

Thanks to Phya and Fran for the photos!

Christmas Wishlist

Since Christmas is just around the corner, I'm posting my top 10 picks I'm lusting over this holiday season.

10. Nail Polish!
It was just recently that I came to love nail polish. This is mainly because I can't paint my nails properly (yup, that's right!). Gotta start practicing because I love love love love those nail designs I see in magazines!

9. Lipstick
The same with the nail polish, my interest in lipsticks started just last month. I always thought that dark and bright lip colors don't suit me and make me look older. But, they actually don't! They brighten your face and make you look more confident, all you have to do is pick the right color!

Rainy Day

This is a simple outfit I wore for school today. After school, me and my sister went to the World Bazaar Festival (at World Trade Center) for some errands. I'm loving the pink-red combo lately so I rummaged my accessories drawer and took all the reds and the pinks I can find, and I realized there weren't many. (See last photo!) I didn't expect the weather to be rainy so I brought sunglasses. Luckily, the rain lasted for a short while so I was able to take outfit photos! Now, to the more important part of my post: if you just wanna see my outfit for the day and you're already growing tired of seeing my annoying face do weird and awkward poses (haha), do not click the button below. I had so much fun running around and taking jump shots, most of them being quite funny and embarrassing.

P.S. Did you notice that my sunglasses are shaped like lips? You'll know where I bought it (together with some other stuff) in my next post! :)

Wanted: Cat eye sunnies

Photobucket
So I've been on the lookout for a pair of cat eye sunnies. This photo is D&G but I saw one from Mango a few months ago that looks almost exactly like it! It was such a mistake that I didn't buy it. Now I was looking for it in Mango and it's not on the shelves anymore. I got pretty frustrated after that. Do you happen to know any store that have these? Please please share! :) I desperately want one.

Afro Cool (HK Day 5)

Finally, the last set of photos from our Hongkong trip! (Whew!) It was a bit chilly in the morning when we shot the photos, so me, not being very tolerant to cold, wore this fur hat from Uniqlo! Around midmorning, I had to take it off because the weather became really hot.

Presents from Europe!

A few weeks ago, these came in for me from Ryan, who's currently in Europe. His family visited him there and he sent me these stuff.  So sweet, right? :) Oh, and some are pasalubong from his mom (Thanks Auntie!).

I told him to send me postcards for every city he's been to. But he told me it's a bit expensive so he waited for his family to arrive there so they can take them home (haha). I can't believe Ryan will be back here in Manila a month from now! I'm sooooo excited!

Stop and Smell the Flowers (HK Day 4)

Most of the photos were shot at Kowloon Park and the others were taken throughout the day while I was walking around random places. At first, I was wearing my brown Janylin ankle boots (see last two photos of this post) but I had to change to my trusty black F21 leather boots because my feet hurt too much.

For you, which pair of boots looks better with my outfit? :)

Who said pink and red don't go together?

My friend Chris made this for me. (You can check out his blog here.) Can you believe it? He made it from scratch! This is patterned from the Medicine Man watch by Dolce & Gabbana. I love how the pink strap complemented the red outline of the frame. The watch even has my name on it! Cool! I've been wanting an oversized watch to pair up with my outfits. And now I already have one! Thank you sooooo much Chris! :)

The face of the watch doesn't have white dots like what you can see in the photos. It's just a bit shimmery and I guess the light reflected when I took the photos.

What do you think of the watch?

SHOULDER CUT-OUTS! (HK DAY 3)

Hi everyone!

These photos were still taken in Hongkong though we didn't actually go visit different places like the day before. I don't think I was wearing any makeup that time which explains the super ugly eye bags and blemishes in my photos (ewww!). Haha. Anyway, I really like shoulder cut outs and this is the only one I have to date. I think it adds an extra twist to a simple outfit.

One thing I also wanna share with you is about my F21 leather boots I'm wearing here. The leather's starting to peel off and I don't think I'll be able to use it on my future travels. This pair of boots is my favorite because it's very very comfortable, I can wear it everyday! Too bad, I've overused it already. I bought a pair of brown boots (in my previous post) but after a few days my toes (my pinky toes, to be exact) started to hurt. Right now, I'm on the lookout for a fab pair of boots! Do you know any stores I can check out?

Day 2 in HK!

I have the photos from Day 2 during our stay in Hongkong... which means that I have my MacBook Pro back and all my files as well! All those sufferings these past few weeks worrying about my files are finally over. Right now, I'm the happiest girl in the world! You know the feeling when you feel you lost everything you have, but now you got it back? It's so wonderful! Now, I'm officially back (again) in the blogging business! The Macbook Air, however, was not as fortunate. It's still in the Power Mac Center for a more thorough check up and repair. *fingers crossed*

On our 2nd day in Hongkong, we went to The Peak and Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum (which explains the wax replica of Obama above). The rest of the day was dedicated to SHOPPING!

My sister, Tricia was the one responsible for all the photos of me drinking Coke! (And there were quite a lot.)  Oh and I looked so weird and messed up in my photos with the wax replicas of some of the famous Hollywood stars, it would just be too embarrassing to post them here. But, believe me, the trip is worth it! :)

GOING WILD!

I'm so in love with this sheer leopard print button down top from Tomato! I already have a lot of ideas on the different looks I can put together using this piece. This time, I paired it with a black bandage skirt so as not to make my look too casual but still appropriate for a dinner party.

This is the last set of photos I have from several weeks ago. I will be on hiatus for around a week and I'm sure you know the reason why if you've read my previous post. I absolutely have nothing to post because our desktop computer doesn't have a memory card reader. I'll just make it up to you when I arrive in Manila. :)

I HATE YOU, SUN BROADBAND!

Let's start from the beginning. I went home to Legazpi and brought my Macbook Pro, thinking I'll be able to blog regularly during my stay here. On my first day, I inserted the Sun Broadband into my laptop so I can check my mail, blog and Facebook updates. It was installed properly but it can't detect a signal. Eventually, I gave up, I turned it off and decided to surf the net using another laptop. After a while, I wanted to edit the photos for my next blog post and surprisingly, it won't turn on properly anymore. It just kept on loading, showing the apple logo and the spinning gear. Tried almost everything but to no avail! The worst part is, my sister also inserted the Sun Broadband into my dad's Macbook Air before we found out about the problem. And now,we have two NON-WORKING AND NON-USABLE MACBOOKS.

We searched the net and found out that this problem has been experienced by other Macbook users. Their advice was to bring it to a Power Mac Center. And that's what I'm gonna do- as if I have a choice, right? What bothers me most is my files there. I transferred all the photos from our Hongkong trip there and I have no backup. I never expected this to happen to my MBP because it's fairly new and was working perfectly until now. All those photos are really important to me because it's for this blog. I worked so hard for it and became so excited to be able to post everything here. I even said that it's okay to post the photos during Day 1 (in Hongkong)  even though I'm not very satisfied with it because the following photos will be better. Now I'm stuck with ugly photos from Day 1!

I really hope that there were at least some words of caution to Macbook users regarding this issue. This is very inconvenient, like, for example in my case. There are no Power Mac Centers here in Legazpi and I have to wait to go back to Manila to have it fixed. Me bringing it here turned out to be a very bad idea. I'm very much disappointed with this and I hope Sun Broadband will do its very best for others not to have this same problem as me.

I'm sorry for all the negative vibes. I feel like I just have to let everything out.

Day 1 in Hongkong

So... How's everyone doing?

I didn't get to write a post lately because my siblings were using my laptop the whole time we were in Hongkong. I was even planning to update you guys on how I've been doing in our HK trip. I'm back in Legazpi now (my hometown) but I'm having a hard time using Windows again because the broadband doesn't work in my Macbook. (Gotta think of a solution tomorrow)

Our trip to HK was set at a really bad time. I missed the Philippine Fashion Week! So don't expect me to post about the different fashion shows. Yes, I'm frustrated but let's not dwell too much on that.

We arrived in Hongkong around midnight so the photos were only taken in the airport and outside the hotel. Hope you enjoy the photos and expect more soon!! :)

Multiply Shopping Party OUTFIT!

As I've said in my previous post about the Multiply Shopping Party, here are my outfit shots! (If you haven't read that post, you can see it here.) Oh and I didn't actually walk on the runway. That photo was taken after the fashion show and we were just daring each other. Haha. A little bit embarrassing, yes.

A photo with Fran and Phya.

More!

Here are some more photos from last Sunday. I wasn't able to include it in my previous post because I saw it just now. Haha.

Multiply Shopping Party

I was invited by my friend, Phya, the owner of Peaches On Top to the Multiply Shopping Party held last Tuesday (Thanks Phya!).There were booths where you can find different items being sold in Multuply shops. There was also a fashion show divided into different sets, like for school, parties, etc. I wasn't able to pay much attention because I was busy taking photos. Haha.

I'll be doing a separate post on my outfit and my photos with friends. I'm not yet done editing them and just choosing which photos to post took me hours. Check back a little bit later, okay? :)

Won't Ever Get Tired of Florals

291077_2053406065203_1546082747_31820917_734887885_o

We were invited for lunch to my cousin, Adrianne's graduation party at Lugang Cafe. I love the Xiao Long Bao there!! I unintentionally ate so many, haha! It was so great to see some of my classmates and friends back in high school!

For today, I wore a dress from Topshop and borrowed my mom's silver flats. We were planning to go to SM Megamall afterwards but decided otherwise since there were too many people, and waiting to enter the carpark was taking forever. We went to Robinson's Place Manila instead.

Super duper thanks to Marianne, Cindylene, Charlotte, Von and Achi Aissa for these awesome photos! Can't thank you enough! Thanks also for the extra effort of sending these photos to me! :)

The High and Mighty

IMG_1475

Stayed at Powerplant Mall, Rockwell the whole day with my mom. Then, my dad and my sister joined us for dinner. There's a Pre-Christmas Sale there until tomorrow! There are so many great buys you don't wanna miss. It's also great for an early Christmas shopping. If you don't wanna go there, you can visit SM Megamall or Robinson's Place Manila. They have mall wide sales too only until tomorrow! So what are you waiting for? If you have spare time or you wanna reward yourself for studying oh-so-hard for your exams, it's time to sho-o-o-o-p! :)

I wasn't able to take an outfit post so I'll just describe what I wore. I wore this black and white geometric print top from Cosmopolitan (you can see it in the photo), and the jeans which I made into shorts, paired with my Celine wedges but later changed to my sister's Sole Sister (hmm, confusing) pearly white flats.

We ate at Chili's for lunch and my mom insisted to order dessert. We had a High and Mighty Pie. And boy, was it really HIGH and MIGHTY especially when there are only two of you who'll be eating it. I've already tried that ice cream pie a lot of times, shared with a few people- well, it's actually one of my favorites. I didn't know what I was thinking when I ordered it. I wasn't disappointed though- so yummy and totally worth it!

After a While

IMG_0636

One week of exams over and a week more to go! While taking a break from studying, I just wanna share with you my outfit yesterday. I wore flats during the day and changed to heels for the night.

I was invited to dinner by Ryan's mom at 2nd's. Can't have enough of the risotto. Haha. It was so nice to see everyone there after a while (Ryan's the only one missing).  I should've brought my camera with me. I'll make sure next time! :)

You can see the nail art that I had in the last photo. What do you think?

Hope you won't get tired of seeing my face in these photos! Haha.

Hair Tied in a Bun

I know, I know. I haven't been able to post recently. Sorry for the backlog. It's because of this really slow internet connection which doesn't allow me to upload photos in Photobucket. Still glad I was able to upload eventually :)

Five random things about me:

1. I've been loving my hair tied up in a bun.

2. Borrowed my sister's pants for a day because I don't have a good pair of jeans (Note to self: buy one!).

3. Wore foot socks because this pair of shoes hurts like hell. The socks were very effective though!

4. Had my very first nail art at a salon. Kinda disappointed though. Watch out for this in my next post!

5. Probably, I won't be able to post much in the following weeks (again) because the semester's almost over and I have tons of school stuff to do.

All From the Book Fair!!

I've always loved reading books! Usually, when reading a book, I finish it in one sitting :) I just couldn't handle the suspense and excitement on what's gonna happen next. This is why I don't allow myself to start a book during the semester. (Or else, my grades will suffer) Oh, which reminds me. I already cheated. Haha :) I finished reading Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, the graphic novel. Full of gore!

I was overwhelmed by the people in the Book Fair. There were too many of them and looking for books required so much hard work. When you see a book you like, you have to grab it immediately because most likely there isn't a better copy. It was CHAOTIC. But worth it. We got these books at 20% off! :)

I'm Seeing Dots!

I wore this to the book fair last week. (More on the books we bought in my next post.) I've been so exhausted in the past few weeks because of exams and so many requirements. On a brighter side, two more weeks to go until school ends!! I have so many books to read and movies to watch during the break. *excited*

What have you been up to recently? :)

Cosmopolitan top
Plains & Prints shorts
Zara boots
