Waking Up in Vegas

After four full days in San Francisco, we took a flight to Las Vegas. I never realized how close the two cities were. Turns out they were just an hour-and-a-half plane ride apart!

We flew via Southwest Airlines, and I must say, I was pretty impressed! The plane was in tiptop shape and customer service was really good.

Here's the spaaacious limo that took us to the hotel. A glass of wine, anyone?

Coming from the Philippines, a country where it's hot all year round, I can say that I'm pretty used to the heat. Or so I thought. The heat was insane in Vegas! I felt like I was placed inside an oven. Lol. It definitely took some getting used to.

The first day was all about settling in to our new hotel room. We stayed at New York! New York!. The place was so huge that it was difficult to choose where to eat!

The next day, we bought tickets to watch Mysteré, a Cirque du Soleil show at Treasure Island. The set, the costume, and the props were amazing, but the stunts weren't that impressive.

After the show, we walked the entire strip from end to end to take photos. It was certainly much much crazier here at night!

To keep me cool the entire day, I chose to wear the breeziest top I could find in my luggage, paired with the shortest shorts. Lol.

And here's to finally reaching the end of the strip! The walk was exhausting but totally worth it!
