Despite the number of errands and appointments I had that day, I managed to somehow make it to the launch of Kenneth Cole New York's Holiday 2014 timepiece collection. The event was at lunchtime at the Makati Shangrila Hotel (fortunately I was in the area!). Attire was corporate chic, so I wore this black, asymmetrical skirt and threw in this denim button down for a more laid back and relaxed vibe. Of course, this outfit wouldn't be complete without my trusty black heels from Michael Kors!
Creative director of Kenneth Cole New York Watches David Smordoni gave us a short introduction on Kenneth Cole watches, and even shared to us his inspirations in designing the Holiday 2014 collection.
This collection includes the Women's Classic collection, which features crystal accented dials, the Women's Transparency collection, which has transparent dials with a pave center, and the Men's Diamond collection, which includes a diamond marker at the 12 o'clock position!
At the end of his talk, David Smordoni asked two volunteers to come up on stage so that he could designs watches for them based on their descriptions. This was done on the spot and with everyone watching his every move! Talk about pressure! But he stayed so calm and collected, it seemed that he didn't feel nervous at all!
After watching David Smordoni create two different designs for the two volunteers, it was our turn to make our own watch designs! I did my best, but as always, my design turned out to be worse than I expected. Haha. #badatdrawing
Anyway, we were each given a watch to take home, and I got this red one from the Transparency collection! I'm sure this would look great with my outfits!
