Vegas is amazing at night, but there really isn't much to do during daytime. So to make the most out of our stay, on our second day we went on a road trip to the Grand Canyon and stopped by Hoover Dam and Sedona on the way.
It was scorching hot in Vegas so I wore a light and breezy top but regretted my decision later on because it got real chilly at the Grand Canyon!
I was asleep in the car when we arrived at Hoover Dam, so I wasn't really in the mood to take photos. I still went outside together with the others though, but I didn't realize I still had my messy bun!
We stopped by the city of Sedona to catch a glimpse of its red sandstone formations. They were huge -- you could see them from practically anywhere in the city!
Last stop on our itinerary was the Grand Canyon. It took us several hours to get there from Sedona, so by the time we got off the car, the sun was already beginning to set.
The orange hue from the sun made the view so much more amazing. We stayed for about an hour and started our long way back to Vegas. I still couldn't believe I saw the Grand Canyon with my own two eyes! The pictures don't do it justice!
